Mimmos feeds 720 children at the MaAfrika Tikkun Mini Olympics Sports Day
Mimmos, well-known pizza brand and proud supporter of community upliftment, recently attended the MaAfrika Tikkun Mini Olympics Sports Day where the pizza giant surprised 720 children from disadvantaged communities with slices of delicious pizza as a reward for their outstanding efforts on the sports field.
The MaAfrika Tikkun’s Annual Sports Day and Mini Olympics took place The Johannesburg Stadium on the 27th November 2009. The day was filled with fun and sports games that the children loved, and the spectators adored even more – especially the early childhood development centre children from 2 to 6 years of age.
“As one of South Africa’s favourite family restaurants, we are delighted to have contributed to this worthy cause by filling the tummies of underprivileged children and leaving a smile on each and every one of their glowing faces,” says Claire Shephard, Marketing Manager of Mimmos.
