Mimmos donates to community clinic
Mimmos, renowned for their continued support in assisting disadvantaged communities, recently donated blankets to the Alexandra Health Centre and University Clinic for their OPD Department which encompasses the Maternity and Ante-natal sections.
“We are extremely grateful to Claire Shephard and Mimmos for their kind donation. It is thanks to their generosity that we are able to provide community members with the primary health care they so desperately need and deserve,” says Labane Maluleke, Chief Executive Officer of Alexandra Health Centre and University Clinic.
The Alexandra Health Centre and University Clinic currently provides healthcare services to roughly 350 000 people in the Alexandra area per annum, of which include delivering on average between 10 and 15 babies per day. With the clinic being partially subsidised by Government, it relies heavily on donations from the public in order to provide quality health care services to the community.
